About Larry Campbell

Larry Campbell Hi my name is Larry Campbell, welcome to my site.

I grew up in Southern California and graduated from Sierra Vista High School. I received a B.S., in Animal Science, from California State Polytechnic University- Pomona and a M. Ed., in Agriculture Education, from the University of Missouri- Columbia.

I served an LDS Mission to France from February 1968 to April 1970.I was there during the Communist Revolution against Charles De Gaul.
Once we insolently took a short cut through the French Mirage Jet Fighter Factory and when we went to leave were arrested as American Spies.
Four hours later and after a call to our Mission President in Paris they let us go.

I worked for the University of Missouri for nine years. First as a 4H Assistant, then as a Farm Management Specialist and Livestock Specialist.
I worked for the University of Utah as the Millard County Livestock, Dairy, Crops and 4H agent for three years.
I also worked at Oregon State University for five years as a Livestock and Forage Specialist in the Willamette Valley and Portland Metro Area.
I accepted a position with the University of Arkansas As A County Agent IIl and worked for seven years with Livestock, Dairy, Crops and 4H.

Over the years I have done my own illustration, cartoons and photography for News Letters, Newspapers and Magazines. I won Oregon State's Art About Agriculture in 1992. I also won First Place Livestock Column from the National Association of County Agriculture Agents for the 13 Western States Region in 1992. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I do creating them.
